CP40 STAGE è dotato di una selezione di voci tratte dal pianoforte a coda realizzato a mano CFIIIS Yamaha, EP vintage con effetti VCM e una serie di suoni basati sul sintetizzatore MOTIF e adattati alla meccanica con 88 note per offrire un tocco piano ed una risposta sorprendentemente realistici.
